Our next training session will cover how you can use DiSC personality profiles to build better teams and relationships with your customers.
DiSC profiles are one of the 3 top reasons we have been able to build Team Extreme to 18 people. The average length of tenure for our Australian team is 8 years and 3 months, which is practically unheard of in the IT industry. Our high employee retention decreases our training costs and helps us provide much better service to our customers. DiSC profile is a big part of that.
During this session we will have Ray Strongman helping to discuss who to use DiSC in your business. Ray has been a Business Coach for over 15 years and it was Ray who first introduced us to DiSC profiles.
We will cover:
- What DiSC profiles are – what the 4 traits are and how they effect the way you think, act and communiate.
- What your DiSC profile means for you -how others perceive you.
- How to understand other people’s personality profiles – recognise the other styles and learn how to work more effectively with them.
During the training session, James and Ray will share specific examples of how DiSC can help you build a better team in your business.

DiSC profiles look at each person’s personality from the point of view of 4 different traits. Each one of these will determine how they act, think and communicate with others.
Dominance | Describes the way you deal with problems, assert yourself and control situations. |
Influence | Describes the way you deal with people, the way you communicate and relate to others. |
Steadiness | Describes your temperament – patience, persistence, and thoughtfulness |
Compliance | Describes how you approach and organize your activity, procedures and responsibilities. |
Understanding your personality profile can make a big difference in your life and having a whole team with an understanding of DiSC makes for a lot more harmonious relationships within the team. We have found DiSC profiling helps when thinking about how we deal with customers, how we manage projects, and how, as a team, we troubleshoot issues. Within IT, which is a very team-centric industry, we have found DiSC profiles to be invaluable.
